This exceptionally high-quality Atlantisite talisman has been handcrafted by our 5–7-artisan collective here at Platypus Dreaming, deep in the ancient rainforests of Kuranda, Far North Queensland, Australia.

This piece features AAA+ bright green Serpentine with vivid purple Stichtite — a colour combination that is extremely rare, especially in such high clarity and saturation. This gem is also double-sided, polished on both faces in our signature rainforest-infused style.
Finished with a 1000 pure silver tribal bead, hand-cut and chiseled using traditional metalworking techniques.

Atlantisite (also called Tasmanite) is a natural combination of Serpentine + Stichtite, found exclusively at Stichtite Hill in Zeehan, Tasmania. This is the only place on Earth where high-grade Atlantisite occurs, making this talisman a true collector’s piece.

Our creations are aligned with the frequency of the oldest rainforest on Earth, made slowly, consciously, and with deep respect for the stones and the land.

Stone Information

Using expert lapidary equipment, stones are hand-cut and polished at our studio in Kuranda, Far North Queensland. All stones are hand-cut by artisans in Australia.

Cord Material

Each talisman is hand-woven using the highest quality waxed cords on Earth. These have a soft and organic feel against the skin, and are ideal for those who prefer an alternative to metal.

Using Your Talisman

Can I shower with this talisman?

Absolutely! These pieces are designed for surfers, swimmers, and alike. They can be worn in the shower, and/or when swimming – and the colours will not fade. Our talismans have proven their durability in our rainforest home against the elements of sun, water, humidity, and heat.

How do I care for my crystal talisman?

Platypus Dreaming creations are handcrafted using the highest quality waxed strings on earth. They are designed to be long lasting and with the right care, they will maintain their original shape and colour for years to come. These talismans are water resistant and feel very organic when worn against the skin. All stones have different hardness levels so please be gentle and treat them with the right level of care. Each piece is designed with longevity in mind. We only use silver and/or stainless-steel beads which will never rust or loose colour.

How do I cleanse my crystal talisman?

We recommend a gentle rinse under fresh water – preferably rain or river water. Moonlight also works beautifully, as does smoke, i.e. sage, or Palo Santo. You can also use other crystals to energetically clear your talisman, such as an amethyst cluster. Some crystal talismans benefit from being cleaned regularly as they are carriers of energy. Others, such as moldavite, are independent beings and do not need cleansing. If you have any questions about the metaphysical aspects of the stones, please send us an email at info@platypusdreaming.com.au and we can answer your questions individually.

Where do you get your stones from?

We have been travelling the world for 15+ years to source exotic and interesting gemstones. Wherever possible, we travel directly to the source, to develop a first-hand relationship with the people who take the stones from the Earth. This ensures we are familiar with the processes involved when extracting the stones from Earth; and that stones are ethically hand-collected with great respect and care.

How long will it take to arrive?

Items generally ship within 1-3 business days and generally take 2-7 business days in transit for domestic, and 8-20 business days for international. Custom creations may take longer. How will my item be packaged?

All Platypus Dreaming creations come in a bespoke jewellery box, along with a handwritten note. They are carefully wrapped in unique materials, to ensure each piece arrives safely at your doorstep.
