This is exceptionally high quality Atlantisite – from Tasmania, Australia. This is a AAA+ bright green and purple colour which is very hard to find! This talisman is also doublesided. It has been handcrafted by us here at Platypus Dreaming in the beautiful rainforests of Kuranda, QLD Australia. Features a 1000 pure silver tribal bead that has been hand-cut and chiseled using traditional methods.
This Australian stone is sometimes called Tasmanite, it is a combination of yellow green Serpentine and purple Stichtite. Atlantisite is a trade name coined by Gerald Pauley for the high grade gem quality form which is used in jewellery. This beautiful stone has been found relatively recently and only occurs at “Stichtite Hill” a small hilltop in Zeehan, Tasmania, where it is exclusively mined.

Our items are created and designed in Australia in alignment with the healing frequency of the oldest rainforest on Earth.

Using Your Talisman

Can I shower with this talisman?

Absolutely! These pieces are designed for surfers, swimmers, and alike. They can be worn in the shower, and/or when swimming – and the colours will not fade. Our talismans have proven their durability in our rainforest home against the elements of sun, water, humidity, and heat.

How do I care for my crystal talisman?

Platypus Dreaming creations are handcrafted using the highest quality waxed strings on earth. They are designed to be long lasting and with the right care, they will maintain their original shape and colour for years to come. These talismans are water resistant and feel very organic when worn against the skin. All stones have different hardness levels so please be gentle and treat them with the right level of care. Each piece is designed with longevity in mind. We only use silver and/or stainless-steel beads which will never rust or loose colour.

How do I cleanse my crystal talisman?

We recommend a gentle rinse under fresh water – preferably rain or river water. Moonlight also works beautifully, as does smoke, i.e. sage, or Palo Santo. You can also use other crystals to energetically clear your talisman, such as an amethyst cluster. Some crystal talismans benefit from being cleaned regularly as they are carriers of energy. Others, such as moldavite, are independent beings and do not need cleansing. Where do you get your stones from?

We have been travelling the world for 15+ years to source exotic and interesting gemstones. Wherever possible, we travel directly to the source, to develop a first-hand relationship with the people who take the stones from the Earth. This ensures we are familiar with the processes involved when extracting the stones from Earth; and that stones are ethically hand-collected with great respect and care.

How long will it take to arrive?

Items generally ship within 1-3 business days and generally take 2-7 business days in transit for domestic, and 8-20 business days for international. Custom creations may take longer.
