This is a powerful and protective Black Tourmaline with quartz crystal talisman, handcrafted by us here at Platypus Dreaming in Far North Queensland, Australia. This has been designed as part of the Nazar collection – it is a shamanic tool to ward off negative energies, and the 'evil eye'. The stone is from Afghanistan. Unlike other Tourmaline forms, Schorl Tourmaline – this variety of Black Tourmaline – is never transparent or even translucent… This talisman features a 1000 pure silver tribal bead that has been hand-cut and chiseled using traditional techniques.
The crystal is a raw specimen, meaning it has not been polished or altered in any way – it is exactly how it was unearthed.
