This is a powerful and extremely rare Australian Yowah Nut Boulder Opal talisman, handcrafted by our Platypus Dreaming collective deep in the ancient rainforests of Far North Queensland, Australia.
Each talisman is created by 5–7 artisans, combining our unique skills in cutting, polishing, weaving, carving and finishing.
Yowah Nut Opal is one of Australia’s most magical formations — an ancient ironstone “nut” that hides brilliant colour within its core. When a nut is cracked open, it reveals two natural faces created by Mother Earth herself.
This piece is one half of an incredibly rare twin-opal pair.
⭐ IMPORTANT:
The sister/twin of this opal has also been crafted into a talisman and is listed separately in our shop.
Collectors who appreciate symmetry, rarity, and deep symbolism may love owning both halves of the original opal nut.
This talisman comes with a hand-chiseled 1000 pure silver tribal bead , crafted using traditional methods. It is finished on our signature Australian handmade tropical cord, created for strength, comfort, and daily wear.
