Receive free shipping with tracking on all orders placed on Orders are shipped directly to the shipping address provided at checkout. Our free shipping service does not include express delivery, sign on delivery nor postal insurance. If you wish to add on any of these services, please select at checkout. For higher value items, we do recommend adding postal insurance, so you can receive financial compensation if the package is lost or damaged in transit. Please note – we always ship at your own risk and we don’t offer refunds for items lost in transit – please add on postal insurance if concerned.
Phone number provided at checkout will be added to your delivery information so Australia Post can contact you directly if they have any issues with delivery.

What happens if an item is lost in transit?

In the rare circumstance that an item does not show up we will ask you to confirm your address and we will compare it to the shipping address provided by the buyer at time of purchase. If the address does not match, we will wait for the item to be returned to us. It can take six weeks to be returned to us – please be sure your address is correct when making a purchase. We will then charge the shipping price again and ship it to the correct address. We cannot guarantee that any items sent to the correct or incorrect shipping address will be returned to us. We cannot compensate for lost items, if we can prove that the item was shipped to the address provided. If you have purchased insurance, you will be eligible for a full refund from Australia Post. In this situation, please connect with us so we could advise you how to submit a claim with Australia Post.

What happens if an item is damaged in transit?

Australia Post is a reliable shipping provider, and we rarely encounter any damage to our items during transit. Each item is packaged carefully with the intention that it will get shipped to you safely and securely. For damaged items up to the value of $100, please contact us with a picture and we will do our best to sort the situation out. For items over $100 we are not responsible for postal damage, therefore we highly recommend postal insurance for items over $100. All items are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced. It is the receivers responsibility to upgrade if concerned. We are always shipping at your own risk and request in any condition with insurance or without insurance. Upgrade at checkout or message us with any concerns you may have.

Customs Fees and Duties

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. Our shipping providers here in Australia are unable to give estimates of internationally payable duties and taxes, so we recommend checking in with your local government agency if concerned

Giftwrapping and Packaging

We use innovative earth-friendly materials to send our items with care. The Outer padded mailer insert is compostable & will break down at home with your veggie scraps, as will the tape! Our wrapping paper is made from 100% post-consumer waste (no trees were harmed!) with vegetable-based printing ink. It is ideal for recycling! The Inner bubble wrap is biodegradable and contains an organic fertiliser which helps it to break down in weeks- not lifetimes! All parts used for packaging have been manufactured in Australia, reducing transport emissions.
Please note – If you would like to include a note to the receiver, please include the message at checkout and we will be more than happy to hand write a message for your loved one included with the creation.

Returns & Exchanges

If you’re unsatisfied in any way with your item, send your item back within one week of delivery, for a full refund in Platypus Dreaming store credit (provided you contact us within the first three days after delivery). Your store credit will be valued for one year for any item/s on our website, Please contact us BEFORE shipping, at [email protected]. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, then no exchange can be accepted. As we are a very small collective of artisans, we do not offer refunds at any time, including for cancellations, accidental purchases, or change of mind. When purchase is made, payment is divided directly into the artisan’s accounts, so they do not need to wait 3-5 days. We value our artisans, and therefore can only offer refunds in Platypus Dreaming store credit. Please be mindful of this at time of purchase and contact us if you have any issues with your order.


Please note – sale items, custom-made creations, personalised orders and items purchased on a payment plan are non-refundable and are not eligible for exchange.

Conscious Custodianship of Activated Stones

Please be mindful that Platypus Dreaming operates as a community service project and we reserve the right at all times to cancel any orders. If we feel that someone is not the rightful custodian we have the right to hold our creations here in deep rainforest and to cancel your order with full refund. Crystals have been cleansed, charged and programmed. All rocks are activated with highest vibrations of nature. We feel You, and we are mindful about how we share these stones across the earth plane!
